Privacy Policy

Data we collect

• Account data: your email address and, if you use Google sign-in, your basic Google profile (name, email). Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are never visible to us.
• Trading data you provide: trades, accounts, journal notes, tags, screenshots and preferences.
• Kai usage: the questions you ask and the number of questions used each month.
• Billing data: your subscription status, plan and renewal dates. Payment details are collected and processed by Paddle; we do not receive your full card details.
• Technical data: standard request logs (such as IP address, browser type and timestamps) kept for security and reliability.

How we use it

• To provide the Service: store your journal, calculate statistics and show your results.
• To answer Kai questions.
• To manage subscriptions and apply plan limits.
• To secure the Service, prevent abuse and fix problems.
• To send essential emails, such as account verification, password resets and billing receipts.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

Service providers

We use trusted providers that process data on our behalf, only as needed to run the Service:

• Cloudflare: website hosting, security and email routing.
• Supabase: database, authentication and private file storage.
• Anthropic: the AI model behind Kai. When you ask Kai a question, your question and calculated statistics from your trades are sent to Anthropic to generate the answer. Your free-text journal notes and screenshots are not sent.
• Paddle: checkout, payments, invoicing and tax as our Merchant of Record. Paddle processes your payment information under its own privacy policy.
• Google: Google sign-in (if you choose it) and email for support messages.

Some providers process data outside your country, including in the United States, with appropriate safeguards.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and secure your session. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Paddle’s checkout may set cookies needed to process your payment.

Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your personal data and journal content within 30 days, except records we must keep by law (for example billing records held by Paddle).

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can export your workspace from Settings at any time. To make a request, email us from your account email address. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

Your trading data is private to your account and protected with access controls at the database level; screenshots are stored in private storage. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We will post changes to this policy here and update the date above. For material changes we will notify you by email or in the app.
